Making Faces in the UK

 

The Making Faces film will be making the rounds on a mini-tour of England this October-November. Director Richard Kegler will be on hand for each screening to discuss the project and answer questions. Screenings in and visits to Reading and Bournemouth will be specifically for the University communities but other screenings are fully open to the public.

Deluxe DVD released

The deluxe version of Making Faces is now Available for purchase from P22. Plus, the regular version is now reduced in price. We are very gratefull to all of those who have supported the film and especially pleased that some of the most enthusiastic response has been from a general audience of non-professionals. The goal was to go beyond a niche 'how-to' film and bring in some of the enthusiasm of a craftsman for their chosen field. This combined with conveying some very specific details of the process makes Making Faces a success on many levels. Thank you! -rk

Deluxe Version of Making Faces - Insert 1

After a long production cycle, the final elements are falling into place for the deluxe version of the Making Faces DVD Package. Along with a letterpress package and 10 languages of subtitles, there will be an HD digital copy disc included. The piece of metal type will also still be included along with a hand-printed letterpress full specimen inserted in every DVD set (Printing form on press bed shown below)
